Kamiak High School


Kamiak High School was opened in Mukilteo, Washington, United States.

KHS found 17 years ago (1993).

It was built to handle overflow population from the overcrowded Mariner High School.

At that time Mariner was the only school in Mukilteo School District.

Kamiak had no Senior class at first.

The first graduating class from Kamiak was 15 years ago at 1995.

The first class that graduated choosed the colors to represent Kamiak such as, purple, silver, and white.

Kamiak High School was named in honor of Chief Kamiakin.

Kamiak have over 40 classrooms.

It also have a half-Olympic sized swimming pool.

Also six tennis courts, a softball field, baseball field, soccer field, football field, track facilities, and the school's East Campus, which houses science and math rooms as well as the "Multi-Purpose Room".

Kamiak High School had cost $54 million dollars up tp now.

In 2002 they start Kamiak Show Band performe.
