It is one of the big four global advertising holding companies.

Headquartered in New York City.

It has 41,000 employees and reported full−year revenues of US$6.5 billion for 2010.

Its subsidiaries specialize in consumer advertising, interactive marketing, media planning and buying, public relations and other specialized disciplines like sports and event marketing. The company’s current chairman and CEO is Michael I. Roth.

Interpublic Group’s lineage goes back to the 1870s, 141 years ago.

Foote Cone and Belding, now part of Draftfcb, is one of the United States’ earliest advertising agencies.

Alfred W. Erickson and Harrison K. McCann set up shops under their names in 1902 and 1911, respectively.

. Lintas, founded in 1929 as the in-house advertising agency for Lever Brothers, is now part of Lowe and Partners Worldwide.

Interpublic Group was incorporated in Delaware in September 1930 under the name of McCann Erickson.

The company has operated under the Interpublic name since January 1961 when it became the world’s first marketing services management holding company, with McCann-Erickson and McCann-Marschalk as its two subsidiaries.

The company went public in 1971.

Midway High School


Midway High School is the only high school in the Midway Independent School District.
which serves the Waco, Texas area.
Although the school is located in southwestern Waco, most students live in the suburbs of Woodway and Hewitt.
Up until the fall of 2003, Midway High School was located on Hewitt Drive in Hewitt.
Midway has 2000+ students enrolled in the 2010-11 school year.
The ethnicity breakdown of Midway is: 72.8% White, 13.1% Hispanic, 10.4% African American, 3.3% Asian, and 0.4% Native American.
Midway was rated Recognized by the TEA based on the 2010 TAKS results.

Midway High School was the setting of the 2006 teen drama series Texas Cheer Moms on The Learning Channel.

In 1990, on a trip to Denali National Park in Alaska, Caribou Coffee was imagined by newlyweds John and Kim Puckett.

Edmonds Community College is a college in the metropolitan area of Seattle.

The Bermuda Triangle


It is also known as the Devil's Triangle.

It is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean.

Many number of aircraft and surface vessels allegedly disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

The boundaries of the triangle cover the Straits of Florida, the Bahamas and the entire Caribbean island area and the Atlantic east to the Azores.

It was found on a September of 1950, 61 years ago.

It was found by Edward Van Winkle Jones.

Fate magazine published "Sea Mystery at Our Back Door".

The number of ships and aircraft reported missing in the area was not significantly greater, proportionally speaking, than in any other part of the ocean.

The Gulf Stream is a deep ocean current that originates in the Gulf of Mexico and then flows through the Straits of Florida into the North Atlantic.
